Angry Battery Completely Drained as soon Car is Shut Off (And all Windows Roll Down)...

Hey everyone,

I am really stumped with this one...

My car had a little bit of these problems before but now it has been sitting for 4 months (started every couple weeks and run, but this problem started happening with those starts too).

So I need to jump my car to get it started and once it is going it seems fine.
Then, when I turn the car off all the windows roll down...
And the battery is immediately drained. It holds no charge at all. The battery was replaced about 8 months ago.

Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated. I can't drive anywhere now.

Thanks!

You should go to someone other than where you bought the battery and have it tested. Do your windows only roll down in certain conditions or every time you have turned the car off? Even though the windows are rolling down, the controls dont allow for the motors to keep running when the windows down, so even though they roll down, they shouldnt continue to drain the battery. When you turn your car off, are you able to lock the car and have the alarm warning lights by the door plungers come on, or does your car unlock?

Take out the fuse for the window stuff and see if it changes anything.

seen batteries go sooner than that. sometimes it's just a lemon battery that has a cell go bad very quickly. I say get the batt tested where you bought it. the windows, no clue.
