Default Blizzard driving

I just drove home through about 10 inches of snow. I would just like to say I can not believe how well the vehicle handles the conditions. I'm running firestone firehawk gt tires (high performance all season) and was supeised the amount of traction they had. There was one point where I got stuck but not like "oh **** I'm stuck." Snow+Audi+Quattro= <3

You ought to try it with dedicated snow tires. That'll really open your eyes.

Oh yeah - I've taken my A4 places my old '95 Silverado 4x4 wouldn't dream of going.

Took my a4 out for the first drive in serious snow on Sunday, coming from an 85 cressida (RWD) it's definitely a lot different. The car just goes. Handles a little differently (lift off oversteer took a little to get used to) but the car simply inspires confidence.

I Love Quattro!

Indeed, indeed.

We're up to 43" of snow just for the month of December here(which is a new record), and my old girl with newish Continental Conti-Extreme Contact tires just can't be stopped.

She sure could use a car wash, though. The roads are a bloody mess.

I remember blowing my Dad's mind by driving through a solid eight inches in my lowered B5 on shitty Cooper tires. Quattro will always have a special place in my heart...
