Oh I was ecstatic when i pulled the head and took a peek under there. Its resurection will be awesome, finally a new intake mani, huge throttle body, sem, delete as much crap as possible, and make it all clean and nice to look at

give er hell. i cant believe the head came out unscathed. thats what worries me about building a head. so much money can get wasted real fast. blocks are cheap. cams, valves, aeb heads, ect are not cheap and can get trashed easy if your not careful. not sure if you ripped it apart yet but is the crank still good? gonna stay with these rods and ret a replacement or get all new ones? maybe go tuscan now?

I havent disassembled the block yet, or pulled it out of the car for that matter, but im hoping the crank is ok. The head was more expensive than the shortblock by a decent amount too. Too bad they both need considerable machining and labor to build like i have them, so its not as straightforward as just buying another block or head shell. Definitely keeping the Scat rods, I like them and they hold more than enough power.

Ah, the joys of BAT right? I'll be happy if I can go GTRS in the next couple years..

I can get you a block for around 100 bucks

beau, i got an 01 block for cheap, it comes with car though
