Alright. God dammit I'm off tomorrow! I WILL make significant progress toward getting my ******* car running. If anyone has any motivation to spare: please leave it here. That is all.

Swap in a RamJet 350 w/ a TH350 transmission and get an adapter for the transmission for Advance Adapters. They can adapt anything to anything.

I gotta track down a mystery. After swapping engines I have a crank but no start condition and vcds isn't registering any fault codes. Pretty sure there's a wire mis or dis connected somewhere and now I gotta go through the whole car with my multimeter in one hand and dick in the other lol...... If this car wasn't so pretty.

I still think you should do a 350 swap. You know what it takes to get a 350 running? Squirt oil in cylinders, fresh fuel, fresh battery, then start.
