belt tensioner question

Default belt tensioner question

can i replace the tensioner without putting it into service mode? those 3 bolts look ez to get to but is it ganna be a pita?

Depends on the motor, the 2.8L may be pretty difficult, but its doable.

i do indeed have a 1.8t and it was making some wierd *** noises then all of a sudden they went away.... my serp belt is still there everything works as normal ::shrugs shoulders::
