Default Best beginner mods for 2.8Q?

I've got a 96 2.8QM and want some opinions on some good mods. Currently I have the exhaust upgraded to a 3" Scorpion exhaust off an S4. Headlights are upgraded Depo Xenon housings w/ bulbs and ballasts from an A6. Its debadged but there is still some outlining where the A4 and 2.8 badges were. I cant get them off w/ GooGone, what do you guys think of touch up paint? I just want some help with what I should do next... Thanks

Read the A4 newbie guide sticky.

Not much to be done with a 12v 2.8.. If I were you I'd concentrate on wheels/suspension. As for the badge outlines, just keep at it with goo gone/buff/wax/wash. Eventually it should disappear.

o and i forgot, go to your local autobody supply store and pick up an air grinder and an eraser wheel, swap the wheel for the grinder disc and set to work. keep the wheel moving over the surface of the car or you'll burn through the paint.

yea...im not too sure how i feel about taking a saw to my muffler or burning through my paint...

What do you guys recommend for suspension work? I want to lower it but I'm new to this so any pointers as far as springs/shocks and where I could get it done would be helpful. I dont want to mess around with a spring compressor myself. I keep reading on here that if you dont feel comfortable doing it, DONT.

Thanks

Hell yeah I'm for real son. I'm probably going to fab up true duals for it in time to pass inspection. I want a good exhaust and I'm too poor to buy magnaflow or remus.
