So long story short, one of my fat fives managed to crack and no one wants to repair it for "liability issues" even if I tell them I will write up and sign a waiver saying I do not hold them responsible.

Anyways I've been getting real big into autocross lately and a 29lb wheel (without the tire) is a little heavy for autocross.
I'm looking for your guys help on a set of wheels that I can use just for the track/autocross or possibly as my new full time summer wheels.

So the combo here is reasonable price + light weight and possibly + good looking.

Need some help!

 

I'd go with some Enkei RPF1's if you're on a budget.

SSR's and Volks are also up there but they'll cost more.

Send the wheels to SoCal. I know several places that'll fix them.

 

RPF-1's are very nice. I would look into Gram-Lights personally. They can get pricey but if you want a quality lightweight wheel for track use they know their way around a wheel. Most 17"/18" Gram Lights range between 15-20 lbs. But be weary that going too light can actually hinder performance

 

Ahh that sucks!! I love those wheels. If I can find a place around here that will fix cracked wheels I'd buy them from you and put them in my trunk

i know a guy... lol try mobile wheel repair? theres always rim doctor on richie highway but the operation is sketch but they will do it.

 

Just found a guy who will do it!

But still want light weight wheels for the track, enkei rpf1's are looking like a good option. Found 2 with good tires for only $350 shipped. Now the only problem is finding 2 more...
