best way to get ride of spray paint

If it's painted, it's ruined. Buy a new one, they are cheap.

Take a Dremel with cotton cylinder and apply heavy cut rubbing compound to it on high rpm. It will come off then. Then use polish with the dremel and the rings will look brilliant.

so where is the cheapest place to buy new rings?? I have black ones on front and i'd like to be able to switch em out time from time... ecs or what??? thanks in advance guys

Just buy new rings - they're dirt cheap.

Or you could just spend the $80-100 and get an RS4 or Kamei grill which look a lot better than the factory grill. Plus it would save you the headache of scraping paint and repainting. Putting in a new grill takes all of 2 minutes

A real RS4 grill is a lot more than $100. Dealer list is over $200.

But the rings are still cheap. Why is this thread still going?!?

Tweaked you are right. Currently they are around $200-250. I got mine for around $100 1.5 years ago but you can still check Ebay
