Default Bit of smoke...

I have a 2001 A4 1.8T, and I notice when I Put the car in first and take off, There is a bit of smoke. Now for whatever reason I only see it in 1st on take off and when going in reverse. I noticed its considerably more smoke when it sits at idle for a bit. Its white-ish so I figured Head gasket? Any help is greatly appreciated, I'm more of a helicopter mechanic than a car mechanic

white smoke=coolant
blue smoke=oil
head gaskets are pretty rare to go out on these cars but possible. could also be turbo going out. is there coolant mixed with the oil or oil in the coolant?

Try cleaning you cvs it get clogged and will not resiculate the gasses causing smoke if thats the case your front and main seal might go check that first easy and cheap take off the metal pipe and look and see if it is clogged couple cans of degreaser cheap better than seals
