OK, here's my car as it sits with VMaxx coilovers and 18" wheels. Stock ride height (on the S4 suspension I was on) was 27.5" fender to ground. Currently, the car is raked with a front FTG measurement of 25" and a rear FTG of 26.25". I'll level it out in the spring, when I put on my new wheels, but this will give you an idea of the wheel size proportions once you drop your car with 18" wheels.

s4 suspension is 27.5"? cuz i was talking to aledelic and he said stock FTG should be 27" so i measured mine and its 27" exactly... anyways thanks ALOT for these pics as my springs are 2.1 front and 1.6 rear which is almost the exact drop u have with ur coilovers... but i must ask u running 40/18? or 35 or what?

I may have had less wear on that set than he did, I'm not sure - the set I installed was pretty low mileage. Those tires are 225-40ZR18 too, if that helps. Also, the S4 springs are stiffer than the A4 non-sport springs, since they're both a sport application, and at least up front, they're holding up a somewhat heavier engine, so the extra half-inch is believable when installed on an A4.

well places like that only give u the "recommended" tire size for the application, thats why i would rather see them in person (or picture) as opposed to ask someone over the phone lol

Get 18x8 wheels with a +35 offset for the right fit. Running a 225-40-18 tire keeps the rolling diameter very close to stock so your instrument calibration stays correct (at 60mph the speedo error is a fraction of 1mph). Pick whatever wheel you like and order with those specs in mind and you'll be rolling right.

I like it, but might be a little extreme for me.

Guys, I'm sure most you have heard about Hartmann wheels, they make very high quality replicas. I'm almost positive those are Hartmann on that B5 above.

If you haven't already, check them out, I'm sure there is something you'll like! They just came out with new sizes that don't need spacers or anything. They bolt right up to are cars and fit properly. (They changed the wheels to 8.5 with 38 offset)

Prepare to drool!
