i like it. i've never used a dremel so if i tried for my first time i doubt i could get it that nice. the only wrong with the picture are the shifter, buttons on the steering wheel and the missing third pedal hehe

Ummm yeah... I just photoshopped the shifter and steering wheel in, and the third pedal out... I totally fooled you! [&:]

But yeah, for using a dremel for the first time in a long *** time, and for something like this, I don't think I did too badly. Plus, I was thinking of cutting down that already messed-up fin and removing it altogether. Both top and bottom. I'll photoshop it later tonight, but I don't think it'd look that bad... with the gauge pressed more into the vent and angled slightly more towards the driver, I think it'd look somewhat aggressive.

They're short because the boost gauge isn't pressed in all the way............................

The gauge has a lip that tucks in quite nicely without any evidence of anything being "short"; and, as for the top fin, read:

Leifer:

Sorry about the embarrassing fin-cut, but it's seriously not noticeable unless you're being a dick and going "LOL WHAT CAN I FIND THAT'S COSMETICALLY IMPERFECT"
The left side tilts towards me, so what's shorted becomes blemished out, then the right side sticks out just a bit. Sure, there's evidence that it's not perfect, but for a DIY, I don't think I fucked up as bad as you're saying I did.

i dont say that you fucked up the job. I just say that if you do something. Do it perfect the first time. The point of modding is to look as if the modification was always there without evidence of some work was done. But hey thats just my opinion.
