Default Boost loss

Hey guys,

So I suddenly lost all my boost, I found a hose that has a cut in it so I am wondering if my high temperature silicone rated upto 600F will be able to seal it. I also do have an exhaust leak but that should not effect my boost right?

Thanks,

I think you have to worry more about pressure than the temperature. Replace the hose.

+1 replace the hose. If you are in a bind and it's an on the fly thing to get you to an autoparts store, then it'll work as a temp thing. Eventually, that silicone will give out and you'll be in the same boat.
