Default Boostedchicken's 1.8t A4

Howdy Everyone. Just today I picked up a 00 1.8t A4 Quattro. It is going to need some work, so I guess Ill use this thread as a "build thread". Bought it from a guy who was driving and the t-belt slipped some teeth(old belt). I am hoping for the best but expecting the worst. It isn't too sludged up (Pulled the valve cover off and checked for signs).

I actually made the transaction in the parking-lot of a reputable shop in my town that inspected it to begin with and they said valves were bent but no damage to the pistons.

I plan on digging into it once its home and Ill go from there. Expect photos soon

750 bucks. Has a clean body, so I thought it would be worth it. I should come out ahead either way.

Default 750 dollar Audi

You got a great deal. Having just fixed mine, it'll be about 800-900 bucks to fix properly.

Hint, have a machine shop do the valves...quicker and less of a headache.

Looks like a good buy. Hows the interior?

What are your plans for it?
