Was cruising around for information/parts for my exhaust repair. Stumbled onto this seemed like a pretty good price. Anyone have any experiance with these guys?

I found out once i got under my car that it is not cat back. They just went from right behind the flex pipe about six inches and welded on the system from there back. Seems to me like turbo engine would benefit from the pipe from the end of the catalytic converter back being 2.5 inches. If i am wrong feel free to chime in.

i have the borla exhaust and i paid about 500 for mine since i went to a local speed shop and they got a discount and what not but i think thats about the right price for online. and yea that exhaust is a true cat back system. but i have a test pipe and i am only the rear borla muffler so it sounds pretty badass

 

i have the full Cat back borla exhaust as well.. with the mid resonator and rear muffler.. as well as a test pipe.. the system has been awesome since i got it, and with the test pipe its even better.. def reccomended

 

Discussing with my father the possibility of a custom 2.5 stainless all the way back from the cat. He is retired and has years of metal fab experience. I dont want him getting bored.

 

haha i say go for it.. if you dont want drone though make sure you throw in a mid resonator.. makes the car sound better in my opinion too.. incase you wanna hear what mine sounds like i actually just made a thread titled something like "installed VMR test pipe...siiickkk" and i have videos on there before and after the test pipe.. check it out
