Both headlamp washers leaking
I searched the forum and saw some similar posts, but none that seemed just right, so my apologies if I'm duplicating too much . . .
My problem is this: I got my A4 (2001, 1.8T) back from my mechanic after getting the timing belt replaced. Two days later, my low fluid washer warning came on (I thought this was odd, because my mechanic had said he checked all the fluid levels) and I filled the tank the following morning before I left for work. About 2/3 of the 50-mile commute later, the light came on again. When I got to work, I checked the tank: completely empty. So I filled the tank half way when I got home and discovered that the fluid is draining out beneath the front bumper under both headlamp washers. It took about 20 minutes for the entire half gallon of fluid to leak out.
My question (besides what I need to do to fix it) is whether this could be related-since both sides are leaking-to the bumper being removed during the timing belt replacement, i.e. is something just not hooked up correctly, is something damaged, etc. Is this something I can repair myself? I'm not too mechanically inclined, but hate to lose a day of work again to leave the car at the shop.
Thanks in advance for any observations and/or advice.

Of course, your right, and I agree, but I was hoping (a bit against hope, I'm sure) that it was some simple thing to fix so that I wouldn't be without the car for another day. I'm assuming I'll have to leave it, but perhaps not, as I have not talked to the mechanic yet. But thanks anyway. Cheers.
yea, of you are going to bring it back you dont want to be in there messing with stuff then something else happens different to the original problem making it worse, most likely they didnt align it up right when putting the bumper back on or didnt connect a hose.

Most likely, the washer jets are cracked. It's not very hard to damage them when they are old and crusty if someone removes the washer caps when removing the bumper. '01s have a non-serviceable type and are about $100 a piece from the dealer.
Maybe they just left a hose off, though...
