I LOVE you car, congrats dude i'm super jealous. I guess I'll just have to get thru med-school pay off my debts, make 250K and then buy me a nice S4. Sad thing is, is that's 10 years away!

There isn't a rating on the torque converter, it just goes bad, even on stock vehicles.
Modding just speeds up the process, the TCC (torque converter clutch) usually locks up or doesn't lock at all. Nothing you can really do there, but a lot of people have gotten away with chips and no real problems.
