does the turbo surge? Did you install the vacuum line? To many washers (to tight)?

please read newbie thread first. https://www.audiforums.com/forum/audi-a4-8/newbie-guide-version-2-a-80968/
most people will tell you that you cant run a bov on a closed loop turbo system, some say its ok. personally i dont think there is any reason to run one. why even risk detrimental affects to your enigine just for sound? on the other hand, from the reasearch ive done, the best kind of bov to run is an adjustable one, like a forge 004.
looked on their website this is exactly what it says
"Audi/VW 1.8T Type H Kit (H-1.8T) US$39.00
Allows you to install a BOV-H or BOV-H-RFL to a any Audi or VW 1.8T. Blow Off Valve sold separately. NOTE: Some 1.8T engines respond poorly to venting to atmosphere. Therefore, TurboXS recommends using the RBV-25 vented back to the intake."

it takes a lot of playing with the BOV to get it to run correctly. unless you have a need to vent much more air then a DV can handle, its easier and probably better to just stick with a DV configuration.

would you rather your car run crappy and make a woosh noise or run good and quiet?

i agree with too many washers prolly not running enough boost to make the bov open it should have came with other springs or washers eaither take washers out are put in a less stifer spring
