Default Brake Pads

Hey guys!

It's about that time that I new to get my brake pads done. Any suggestions on what pads to get. I don't race. But I do want some good stopping power. Right now I'm running stock brake's. thanks!

I run EBC Red Stuff with A8/TT brakes and they're great. Little/no noise, less dust than stock pads, and the stopping power is a definite improvement.

I've always wondered, is the difference with the EBC Greens day and night compared to what you get at autozone? I like Autozone for the warranty :]

Never run autozone pads before but you can't beat the warranty. The main difference between them is the compound. EBC pads are made of some kind of kevlar/ceramic concoction that gives better stopping power with less dust.

If your too cheap to buy new pads then get the auto zone. Autozone pads suck ***** compared to the EBC. EBC also has a break in coating, makes them mate perfect to the rotors. I know my EBC reds can stop your ******* face off. When you start stressing autzone brakes with a drive through some twisties they start to fade and your 80 mile and hour sudden stop doesn't happen as you planned. Why anyone wants cheap brakes on their car confuses me, its arguably the most important safety feature of the car and EBC pads are only $60 bucks?

I didn't get the Duralast Pads, I got Roulunds. I thought that they can't be worse than the house brand.
