Hello!
Bought an Audi A4 B5 1,9 Tdi (115ps) a few weeks ago to use as my daily.
Very pleased with the car except it needs a bunch of parts replaced.
Of course just as i put the wrench to the car **** started braking.. I need to get the car into service mode to replace belts, waterpump etc. And not one but BOTH front bumper bolts snapped. I can remove the front lights without removing bumper so I have access from the "above" headlight area and behind bumper.
Was thinking about using a sledgehammer and giving the remaining of the bolt a punch hopefully destroying the threads in the plate the bolt is threaded into = remaining of the bolt falling out.
Am I on the right path or is there an easier way of solving this problem?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
