Default Broken windshield washer fluid container broken, easy to replace?

I havent really looked into this much yet but ive noticed my windshield washer fluid leaks bad. Im guessing it broke because my skid plate isg one but yeah now i need to replace this (new hampshire winters with out it is rough) Is this easy to replace?where do i get a new part for it? Will this effect it passing inspection?lol doubt it but its a thought.. It failed 58 days ago (2 days to get it inspected ha) Any ideas here?

I haven't replaced one, though I recently had to inspect mine. Get at it by removing the driver's side wheel, then remove the liner, and it'll be staring at you in the face. There are hoses, etc. that also need to be removed. I'd imagine it would be a relatively simple job to complete.

Anyone else have experience?

it is simple, exactly how drunk explained it. just mark your hoses so you know what goes where. Chances are, the headlight washer pump is cracked aswell (lower pump)

Mine leaked and I spotted the leak to be at the nipple at the bottom of the container. I removed (pulled) the cap that's on the tubing, let it drain, dried it with paper towels. I put a little bit of silicone all around the nipple, put the cap (tube) back on, let it cure for a day and then added washer fluid. So far so good (knock-knock)

To completely remove it you will have access to one bolt by looking at it from the hood opening, and there are 2 more on teh underside. To get to these you will have to remove the from driver side wheel and the fender surround skin completely and there you will see the 2 remaining bolts. the rest is pretty much common sense, hoses, pumps, and electrical connector, etc.....

as far as a new one, you can try to get a new one from these websites www.autopartsgiant.com or www.autopartswarehouse.com or maybe you can compare prices with your local junkyards using this website: http://www.mypartshop.com/default.aspx
