HELP! BROKEN WASHER FLUID CONNECTION

HELP! BROKEN WASHER FLUID CONNECTION
I have a '96 A4, and I believe that something is broken/disconnected in the windshield washer fluid system. When I tried to put more washer fluid in, it all drained out of the bottom of the car. I think the hose that delivers washer fluid to the headlight wipers is where the problem might be. Does anyone have any advice on how to go about fixing this, or know how difficult of a task it will be? I need to get it fixed soon because it snowed today, and I could barely see. Thanks!

first things first, you need to find exactly where it is leaking. It shouldn't be hard of a fix, worse case senario is your resivour is cracked and you'll need to buy a new one for 40-50$. I would add some fluid and look under the hood to see if you can see the leak

RE: HELP! BROKEN WASHER FLUID CONNECTION
Well the thing is, I can see that the hose for the headlight washers is disconnected, but I can't reach it. I think that the bumper may have to come off in order to get at it. I just don't know anything about this process. From my experience with Audis so far, it seems like there's a good chance that it will be complicated. Any advice or thoughts?

RE: HELP! BROKEN WASHER FLUID CONNECTION
I know the pump for the headlight washers is resonably low on the tank, and it pops out very easily. Check to make sure this has not been the case, it should be right below the power steering fluid resivour, you'll see a two-wire line running to it.

if you undo the torx screws in the fender liner you can pull that back and this gives you some access to the pump, tank and the T fitting for the headlight washers.
