can someone post up a pic or tell me where the a/c recharging ports are on a 96 audi with a 2.8. i cannot seem to find the charging ports

 

Should be around the passanger side strut tower/airbox/battery area. Maybe under a plastic cover. Not sure about the 2.8.

 

You can't charge the a/c on a 96 without the specific adapters. There is no low port, you would have to tap into a valve on the a/c compressor or take out the a/c pressure switch and use an adapter to charge it. Have the dealer or special shop do it for you.

 

Damn, that sucks.
