Default A/C Unit quit working

Hey guys kind of new to the forums so I might need some help with the technical stuff. I was installing an aftermarket HU when I realized I must have tripped a fuse or something becuase my air conditioning unit stopped working. I went to the dealer and talked to a tech and he said I might have fried the unit, but it still lights up but won't turn on the blower. I have found a used one for pretty cheap, but I just wanted to see if you knew of a fuse or any way to check to see what the problem is. Thanks guys

check the fuse box, cant remember which fuse it is but its very likely you blew the one for the blower. if the unit lights up and shows that its turning on the blower and a/c compressor then i highly doubt that the unit is fried.

You did not disconnect the battery while installing? ouch. If you did then you definitely shorted something and you need to fix it. The unit is most likely fine - I would agree with SAudi. I know it's a 30 amp fuse.

So it turns out everything is fine...I had some work done (timing belt, water pump, etc.) and by recharging the a/c and a couple other resets, everything is working fine... I though that was weird, but I guess a hard reset was all that was needed. Thanks guys
