Default Calling all electricians!

Alright, I had my cluster hooked up for a couple days now. When I got in my car yesterday and started it, I smelt electrical smoke. So I immediately unplugged the cluster, and once I got home, I plugged in a known working cluster. The ONLY thing I get are high beam lights, turn signals, and backlighting. And the HVAC doesn't power on. Any ideas?? Thank you!

Check your fuses?

All my fuses are good. I pulled out the continuity meter. Terminal 15 is "Switched Battery Positive Voltage (B+) from ignition switch" and in the wiring, terminal 15 doesn't get power. What's the root of terminal 15? Is there a fuse-able link in the system?

Terminal 15 originates at the ignition switch, so if you have power on Terminal 30 (battery +) but nothing on 15 with the ignition switched on, then suspect the switch.

Gotcha, that's what I assumed but wanted to be sure. Now, wasn't the ignition switch recalled awhile ago?

When you smell smoke, it's bad!

That's all the advice I'm qualified to give here.

Lmao... Thanks Turbo. I guess I'll get to looking into it next week, until then I guess I'll have to suffer with driving an EcoBoost F150

It's definitely more Boost than Eco. I get about 16.5 around town, but I have a tough time driving it in the rain without the back end sliding out It tows our 11K lb. boat no problem, too.

I have power on all of the key switch wires. What relay should I take a look at, or where should I go from here? Thanks guys!
