You can always retard your camshafts 1 or two teeth. This will allow the valves to be open more at a higher RPM. With the 5V per cylinder setup it might be even more beneficial. Just a suggestion

Your low end torque will be shot, but with a lightweight flywheel you will stay in your power band if your racing. so you lose low end power but it definately makes up for it in the higher rpm. Hell look at formula 1 engines. 20, 000rpm's. REVOLUTIONS is the number one replacement for displacement

2 teeth? LOL that would be funny. I know guys that put in cams that were off by 2 degs because they weren't using an adjustble cam gear and when the car was put on the dyno it made 30whp. I would hate to see what would happen if you changed it by 2 teeth. Mainly seeing that there is a big chance the pistons would smack the valves.

Sorry but LOL at the F1 analogy - what does that type of purpose-built, one-use-on-the-planet engine have to do with a discussion of a street car's lightly modded engine? Yes that stuff is basically true, but it's completely irrelevant. There are easier ways to gain power on his engine than to dick with the cams at this point.

1 tooth is 9 degrees on a porsche 944 motor. Retard gives you top end torque, advance gives you low end torque. I agree about the teeth, sometime people get a little stoned and post **** and not read it after. my bad.
