Can 18x9.5 fit in the front??
thats pretty damn wide man. I couldn't tell you for sure but I'm doubting it will work. It will depend on the offset. if you're lowered or plan on being so in the future, skip the wide wheels in the front. Even in the back that's cutting it close.
I would pass on the 9.5s in the front. As Klum mentioned, it would depend upon the offset, but you are either going to rub like crazy, or look ghetto with your wheels sticking out like that.
And Aaron - wtf is up with your avatar? Dude, i had to look at it like 3 times just to make sure my mind wasn't playing tricks on me.

(Ditto what the other guys said. You could technically put them on there, but if they're going to fit all the way under the fenders and not rub when the suspension compresses, chances are you're going to rub when you turn the wheel, and not even turn it all that much. It'll limit how tight a turn you can make. If you spec the offset of the wheels so that they'll clear all the suspension parts, they're likely to stick out of the wheelwells and you're going to tear the tread up on the fender lips everytime the struts/springs compress over a road undulation. I'd do what they said - go 8 or 8.5 up front, or even all the way around. With AWD (I'm assuming) and the relatively meager output of these engines, you don't need a tremendous amount of rubber on the road to harness the power, and the extra weight of larger wheels and tires (unless you spend big bucks for forged wheels) is going to be apparent. I notice a difference on my car now when accelerating, and I'm on S4-sized 17" wheels and tires (235-45-17 all around) and the A8 big brake kit. The extra weight of those parts has made the car slower. Go with huge wheels and tires and you'll exaggerate the effect even more. To be honest though, I don't have high-power, high-speed aspirations for my 2.8 30v, but I do like handling, so the slightly slower acceleration for me is worth the trade-off for the more responsive handling of the wider, lower-profile tires, and the VAST improvement in braking capability that those parts give.
heck no, you will be permanently rubbing...lol
I have seen 9" in the front, and the tires were stretched hectically
say no to 9.5" in the front...
I run 18x8.5 all the way around and they are awesome!

That's a fat lip for 18's. You'll be able to clear it in the back but they're still gonna stick out some. IMHO they're gonna look retarted unless you get some wider fenders on there. Then it might look wide n mean.
