Default can you drop an 2001 audi allroad motor into an 2001 audi a4

just like title says i need to know if i can take a 2001 audi allroad 2.7 twin turbo and drop it into my 2001 audi A4 if so is it worth it in power and perforance Thanks

Yes you can, it's expensive as hell, it's not worth it unless you get a donor car for free, it's a complex swap, it's beyond most guys' abilities, and it's a topic that's been beaten to death with virtually no one who asks ever having completed it.

You can always just buy a B5 S4 with the motor already in the car.

And it's actually a bi-turbo, not twin turbo.

Swaps from non performance to performance models are very complex, time consuming, and a waste of money.

Its not practical at all. Because in the end you still don't have S4 suspension or brakes... You'll need a different transmission. Wiring harness and ECM, TCM. Getting the ABS to recognize the different engine / trans and code it to work.

I mean I wouldn't do it myself with my abilities, knowledge, and tools... Just buy an S4.
