When i pulled into my driveway today and put my car in park, i slowly watched the rpms dip and then it shut off. Lately its been flirting alot with dying but never had done it before. I find if im driving and downshift hard when passing someone and go to around 80 or push it alittle then when i park, it seems to drop real low, normally coming back up but this time it didnt. My EGR Valve needs to be replaced and I have two broken flex pipes. Im hoping that the EGR vavle is pumping to much gas into the engine when im going that fast, and it catches up with it once im parked and just floods it and makes it die. And once i fix that it will all go away? Any ideas on what could be causing this? Thanks

 

When i got home alittle bit ago it dipped down to about 300 and then slowly built back up and held steady for a few minutes until i turned the car off. Any ideas!? Anyone...

 

check your plugs

 

ISV valve. common issue on the 12v. i had the same symptoms and it cleared up with some wd-40, i probably need to clean it again, since the issues kinda coming back. heres teh DIY
