I hope you did the math wrong. $398 would seem reasonable for 4 months of coverage= $1194/year. Or maybe you are completely off and $398 is for 6 months of coverage which would seem even more likely if on your parents policy and getting a multiple car discount, clean record, etc.

I pay $85 per month for the A4, I'm 29, married with multi car. I pay about $300 total per month for an 02 S4, 98 A4, and an 01 Tahoe, $35 of that is liability for my 83 Chevy truck, the other 3 are full coverage through farmers.

thing is, i just hit a deer and did like $200 damage to my car... so having full coverage wouldnt have even helped me causei figure, if i would get full coverage it would probably be $1000 deductible (to keep insurance affordable...)

idk though, i paid $6k for the car, and i would be paying 1200 / year for full coverage plus 1k deductible, so if i use my car for 3.5 or 4 years with no major major accidents i think i made the right choice. if not, i probably would have been better off going the full coverage route.

who do have insurance with???

It would be nice if some of yall list your insurance providers too so maybe we all can hop on board

Wow, I've never heard of $200 in collision damage!
Everyone thinks its going to be about $200, but the estimates always is closer to $2000!

Seriously, headlights are a $250+ (one piece, non HID), you can't hardly get anything painted for $200 (unless its nail polish style), the grill insert (without chrome circles, or logo) is close to a hundo.

What did you get for $200???
