Car kills battery while it's not running
Lately my car has been draining my battery while it is tuned off, I noticed that it constantly makes winding fan like noise as if something was charging up while it's off. At first I thought the motor fan was staying on, double checked and it checks out good, alternator checks good too.I'm guessing this problem could possibly be turbo related.Need help trouble shooting this prob, hit me up if you've ever had a similar prob. Any help big or small would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

LMAO same problem I had during the summer. Count your lucky stars you have me, I spent over 1000 on new batteries and new alternators and countless jump starts. It's the air pump, mine had a short in it and was turning on when the car was off. It drained my battery every time, and killed my alternators..

I had an A6 last spring which was doing the same thing. I took out all of the fuses and put them back in and then that seemed to help but later my stereo stopped working because the fuse in the back of it blew so i got a new one and the car was fine afterwards.
