In my 99 cassette player, a tape is stuck in the deck. I'm not really sure what would be the best way to remove it. When I hold the two buttons together to hit 'eject', I hear the gears moving but the tape will not actually eject. Help please!

I know cassettes are dated and not really in use, but it'd be really useful just so I know how to fix this.
