Default CEL Codes :(

Hey Guys!

SO yet again my car has thrown some CEL's The codes I got are

P00302 - Solenoid Valve Relay -ABS-J106
P00642 - EDL change-over valve front right-N166
P00645 - EDL outlet valve front left-N169

How serious are these problems? And how much am I looking to spend to get these all fixed?

Thanks!

From my understanding these are CEL's for the brakes. So I'll add this my brakes are squeeking but my stopping power has not been affected whatsoever. If it did it's not enough to notice a major difference.

where are you getting the descirptions for the codes? p0302 is misfire cylinder 2, no doubt about that. p0642 seems to be voltage to low to the ecu. p0645 seems to be air conditioning clutch relay circuit malfuntion. id be willing to bet whatever is causing the p062 is causing the p0645.

redline380 - My code reader that I got off ECS. I'll post the pictures with the codes.

McGovs2.7TB5 That's what I thought too. But what else could be ABS? And EDL controls the valves on the brakes to my undertstanding.

Just like redline said p0302 is for a cylinder 2 misfire, not ABS. Put those codes in the search bar here or on Audizine or quattroworld and see what comes up. What a code stands for can vary depending on the manufacturer.

Also, I dont think generic scanners scan the ABS module. Hence if you have a flashing ABS you cant run to Advanced and get scanned. Mcgovs is right ABS wont throw a CEL but it will throw a code which you access via ross tech vag com and fix it that way.

Are you scanning the ECU or the ABS control module when you scan? Youre reader must be confused because it looks like it is looking up the code description for ABS and not Engine. The info everyone posted should be right.

You guys are useless. I asked a question you don't gotta tell me that I'm getting the wrong codes when I got the codes off my damn machine that reads ABS electronics. Don't try and post on a thread just to get your two-cents in it. NO ONE GOT TIME FOR THAT!
