CEL fixed
[8D]Four vacuum lines replaced and the CEL is now gone (after 50 miles of driving). Quite the nuisance job working in tight places under manifold and down at recirc valve (is that the DV?) Thanks to CLX, Coastal, CHawk, Bogie, Brr, and techbod for the help. It takes a team. I'm responsible for this stock 2000 1.8 quatt since my son went off to college 600 miles away, so it is new to me. I waited a couple of days (100 miles maybe) for the CEL to clear on its own, but didn't. Pulled the battery to reset the CEL, found the radio code, and all is well.

[:@]CEL came back after about 75 miles. Still showing P1128 at Autozone. I started working on removing the 5/16 vac line under the G12 coolant overflow (I've changed 4 other vac lines) which i think runs from the manifold to the vacuum reservoir hidden in the wheel well. So, as I broke it loose it made a hissing sound, which to me is good news when looking for a leak. That tells me "no leak" because the line was either under pressure or vacuum. I've blown propane all over the engine compartment from my little benzomatic, I've sprayed carb cleaner all over every friggin line in there, and I haven't heard idle speed changes which might indicate leaks, where hydrocarbons were sucked in and burned.
Any other suggestions?
At this point I'm thinking of going to buy an Autozone MAF. I have no mods on this car. I know about ECS tuning, etc, but won't a $72 MAF from AZ do the trick at about half the price?
