Default central lock pump

my locks on my 1998 Audi A4 1.8t dont work!!! i took it to the dealer and told me it was the central lock pump. I took out the pump from my passenger side trunk and part number is: 8L0 862 257 N
i want to look for it at a junk yard but its hard to find this specific audi. can anyone tell me what other car has the same exact part number so i can have more ptions? or does anyone have one lying around?

i think that probably any b5 whatever year would work, i don't think you have to search for a 98, also a b5 passat clp may work. i have a buddy who had that happen he used a passat one and it works fine from what he tells me.

i have that exact same problem, but the dealer wanted 800 to fix it. mine wasnt functional due to a vent letting water into the trunk and it flooded it.

anyone know where that vent is by chance? the tech guy said it was a vent for i the airbags go off it lets air out of the cabin. so if its leaking water, i need to fix it so it doesnt happen again
