Default Central Locking Codes

hey so when i unlocked my car last night, i noticed the pump ran for longer than usual (id say almost a full minute)... same thing when i locked it. so this morning i hooked it up to my vcds lite and came up with:

VCDS-Lite Version: Release 1.1
Saturday, 14 January 2012, 13:35:44.
Control Module Part Number: 8L0 862 257 N
Component and/or Version: CV-Pump, Alarm, RC D16
Software Coding: 16200
Work Shop Code: WSC 63351
VCID: 40F3C303538D
2 Faults Found:
01367 - Central Locking Pump Run Time Exceeded (Likely Leak)
35-00 - -
00956 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
09-00 - Please Register/Activate

After some research, i figured that the second code (00956) refers to a key 2 adaptation limit, but i only have one key, and never had a second key for it. this one just gets me kinda worried cuz i did buy the car from a somewhat sketchy dealer and he does have my address so...

any ideas on either? thanks

You probably have a cracked line going to one of the door locks, or a leak internal to the vacuum pump. The pumps are easy to change out and our local yard gets $22 for them. If that's not it you can either trace out and find the leak to fix it, or just live with it like most of us do.

Ha figured as much... I cleared them and will probly just deal with it until the locks stop working (or maybe just until it gets warmer out...)
Everything I can find on the other just says to reset it. What would cause this code if I don't have a second key? Or is it just a simple malfunction?
