If you can't get in the trunk (boot) then you could have some serious issues. You can't use the key in the trunk to unlock and open it? If you manage to get in, there is a rod that goes to the gas door that you will have to remove so you can open it and refuel.

When you hit the key fob or door button, can you hear a humming coming from the trunk? If you can, more likely than not, the graffite pieces in the central module (in the truck) broke so it's not getting the vacuum you need to lock, unlock. This should be pretty easy, and inexpensive to fix.

If you can't hear the humming, more likely than not, the central locking module itself has gone bad, which is also easy to fix, but a few hundred bucks...

There is a thread here somewhere that explains how to find and check everything I'm talking about. If I find it, I'll post the link...

Sorry, I couldn't find the thread, which is unfortunate, because it showed you exactly how to access everything you need to get in there. Pretty much, the module is right in front of the passenger side tail light behind all the carpeted trunk stuff. I believe you have to pull out the plastic piece that runs the whole width of the trunk, the little pocket on the right side pulls straight up and out, and then there is a couple screws to pull back everything by the taillight. You'll find a spongy box. That's the thing you're looking for. Pull the spongy stuff off and there's the plastic module. You can disconnect the wiring harnesses to make it easier to look at, but you have to put the whole thing back together and reconnect the wires, or else the car won't start.

Good luck...

Hey i had the same problem. I located the module in the trunk and disconnected it. Turns out the graphite compressor wheel was shattered to pieces. Do you know where I can purchase that single piece?

your gonna have to buy probably a used module from somewhere in order to get a new graphite wheel.
