central locking vacuum pump help!!

Can I install a 99 Audi A4 CL vacuum pump in a 00 Audi A4 1.8t quattro?

It all depends on the CLP numbers on the back... if they match they'd have to be compatible to install.

Yes, the last number will give you a revision code. My pump is E, but there are pumps all the way from A-M...

thanx for the advice. If you know of a good site to find them please feel free to list it. Audi was going to charge me over $1000 to fix it. So I'm gonna take this one upon myself.
