Default Door central locking vacuum pump

My A4 1,8 Turbo Quatro was filled with 70 cm of rain water. I managed to save almost everything except that little darn thing: the vacum pump that is responsible for locking and unlocking the doors. my pump has item numb. :
8L0862257-N, while all the pumps I find out in the market have item numb. :
8L0862257-H, or-L, or-K, or G, or whatever other letter. question: does it mutter? will a pump with another letter work as fine???? help anyone!"!

menioned pump could only be replaced by:
8L0 862 257 B and 8L0 862 257 M (both are working at 315 MHz)

pumps:
- 8L0 862 257
- 8L0 862 257 D
- 8L0 862 257 G
- 8L0 862 257 K
- 8L0 862 257 P
- 8L0 862 257 Q
are working ar 433 MHz and may be useless for You (probably internal lights and side windows will work, but you won't be able to open it using radio in your key, but t's not sure).

^This is incorrect.

You can NOT replace an N pump with a B pump. The flip key remotes do NOT work with B pumps.

OP, I have no experience with any letter suffixes beyond N and B. I may have an N pump laying around, shoot me a PM if you are interested.

Edit: I've been a casualty of a necro-bump. Pniemiec, please avoid responding to threads that are two years old with incorrect information..

Are you in Cananda or across the 'pond'? I found a few of those locking pumps on ebay with the 'N' suffix on the U.S. site....
