Theres a lot of change behind my ashtray that always rattles. How would I go about removing the ashtray draw?

Hammers are so primitive. I'd use a Sawzall.

Try renting a crane and using a wrecking ball. I had the same problem and the wrecking ball worked great.

I had the same problem,i cleared out my pennies with a crude but effect way,i removed the chrome ash tray by simply pulling it out with my fingers, then pulled the tray out as far as it will go over and over again very fast, just enough force to get a good amount of vibration, when the tray slams to the point it can't pull out any farther.

I did this and the pennies, slowly made their way to the front,so i could take a credit card or something thin and push them away from underneath the ash tray.

What's happening is,the vibration is moving the pennies and everything else that is stuck underneath the ash tray forward,i even think the tray itself is touching them a little too,if you look into the tray, after you take out the chrome tray, you can see that there is a plastic mechanism that moves in and out, that can actually push debris out from underneath the tray,i even was looking in between the small space and saw as pennies were jumping around with every thrust forward of the tray.

Give it a try and let me know if it works...
