then shuddering is when you are stopped and in gear wheels turned full right or full left and you accelerate forward, its like an old chevy with posi when the clutches are sticking as you pick up speed and straiten the wheel it goes away, its a quattro auto trans, maybe the torsen is bad I dont know /133k on car, also the rear seal of the front diff is leaking, right in front os where the driveshaft bolts up ,anyone ever change this seal ?

Is this car new to you? I ask 'cause from what have seen on my car, and others, is that this is most likely normal. Mine does this if I start off at near steering lock. Left or Right. Others have told me this is normal in the older Quattro's.

Well.. I believe that short of pulling and rebuilding, its something to live with. Remember that these things are purely mechanical and after 133k miles there is some wear

Interesting. I noticed this on my 01 as well. I barely have enough time to change my oil, never mind diagnose drive line noises, so I ignore it. To be honest, though, in the 4 years I worked on Porsche and Audi, I never saw a Torsen diff go bad. But I guess there's a first for everything.
