Welcome to B5's. They always need a rear wheel bearing. I even keep one in my trunk.

There's a copper wire that breaks on a lot of them. Pull it out, solder a new one on. Takes about an hour. See here:

I got nothing for you there. I got a neighbor with a press. Before that I used to take the hub and bearing to a shop and have them do it.

Welcome!

......and don't worry about the mileage. If it's been taken care of, then it doesn't matter. Mine has 270K Miles on it - and it runs like new.

I owe you an apology. When I first read this I thought it was someone being lazy. I checked for 16468 and 16467. I don't see them on RossTech, and I searched for them on my digital Bentley. Not there either. Any chance you copied them wrong?

Kinda going out on a limb here but 16486 and 16487 are both MAF codes. Maybe the last two numbers were misread/wrote? Nice find for your ride, btw. I bought mine for $200 almost three years ago from a guy who was going to scrap it. It's got 240k on it now and still runs pretty well. Take care of her and she should treat you right. And welcome to the best B5 forum on the interwebs
