Thanks..I feel better every time I drive it !..so being maf codes...could I try cleaning it..or just get a replacement?

 

I would clear them and then rescan and record the codes. That way you will know for sure.

 

Ok..I'll try resetting...any one have luck with the cheap bag com cables?..I got a vag-kkl..and it doesn't have a code reset on the built in software...what's the best way to reset the codes?..battery disconnect?

 

Yeah, just pull the negative battery cable for a minute or two.

The problem is this will lock the (factory) stereo, so if you don't have the anti theft code for the stereo you may want to think twice.....

 

Well I went ahead and disconnected the batt..without thinking of the radio...luckily it diddent lock on me...even tho I got the code..but cell is gone..for now. I'll see what codes pop up in the future...in the meantime the driver window clip broke ....and what does the exclamation mark beside the abs lite mean?
