I got a check engine light after using a degreaser on my engine. Was something knocked loose? The car seems to have loss of power too and when I punch on the gas it kinda lugs for a second then goes.. help please. 1998 Audi A4 1.8TM Quattro 129,500miles I also scanned the engine and nothing came up and the light stayed off for about two days and it has came back on

 

do u have a cone filter? and you scanned it with vag-com?

 

Thanks for the help, but I fixed it. Scanned with OBD2 and came up with Misfire on cyclinder 4. There was moisture in the spark plug well. Must have leaked through when I was hosing off the engine.
