so a local around here crashed his 99.5 1.8t and he selling some stuff from it.

will the chipped ECU work with my 98 1.8t?

i know there are differences down some lines.. i just want to make sure, i dont want to buy soething that will be of no use for me

as long as the numbers match on the ECU your good.. its the number that is in 4 groups of 3 and the last group has 2 letters.
