does anyone see a increase in gas mileage after chipping (staying off the throttle)

 

Personally, I didn't see any improvement when I was chipped with stage 1. But I think it was mostly because I kept gunning the car and couldn't lay off the gas pedal.

 

I didnt notice much. My winter gas mileage might be a little better (1 more MPG max), but I also started doing more freeway driving coincidentally after I got chipped. I have heard people 1-2 MPG better chipped, I doubht people are getting 2. Even if you notice the slight improvement, the car is probably going to be long gone before the MPG improvement pays for the chip..

But it helped me justify buying the chip.. So what you really should take from this is: Yes, I have heard people get 1-2 MPG improvement.

 

i deff noticed a diffrence. i keep my lcd screen on mileage left and before chip full tank was around 300-350 normal driving, 350-400 after chip normal driving
