The climate controls were working right until the two buttons on the right-bottom corner [air distribution selectors] got stuck in. Then the heater (it was on high ) wouldn't turn off and the other controls wouldn't work.
I can't get them un-stuck, but I can't... any suggestions?

Get some electric spray cleaner stuff and us that... also make sure its OFF when you do this.

Had the same problem. I pulled the unit out so I could remove the face plate from the controls. Then soaked it in some water overnight. By morning the soda that got in there was soft enough to spray out with water and compressed air. I also gave it a good scrubing with a toothbrush. Just make sure everything is dry before you put it back together
