Default Clutch Pedal Springy With Very Little Resistance

I replaced my clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and flywheel right before I left in November. The replacement fixed the slipping problem, but the pedal feel remains the same. It's initially kind of stiff, then goes to the floor with very little resistence and it almost seems as though it's pushing back too hard (excessively springy).

I used the troubleshooting guide in my Chilton's manual and most symptoms point to the piston binding in the bore of the release cylinder. How do I check for this? and how do I fix it?

Was the input shaft cleaned and greased? Was the throw out bearing properly installed? The only other thing would be the master or slave cylinder.

With your answer and re reading your first post I think you need a new slave cylinder. That would be how you repair the piston binding in the bore.

That's what I was thinking. Thanks for the confirmation. I'll post my results when I replace the slave cylinder.
