Default code p0303

My 99 audi a4 started acting up a few days ago. the engine was misfiring, and the check engine light came up. The code came back as p0303. I changed the spark plugs, and the condition of my car did not improve. Any thoughts on what else could be the problem?

What motor?

Coil, injector, plug wire. Start moving them around and see if the misfire moves with it.

i have the 1.8t quattro. I switched the coils from cylinder 2 and 3. After testing it out, im hopeful that it is that one coil. I was looking for coils, and came across one without the metal clip. Would that be okay, even with the rest of my ignition coils having the metal clip?

Replace ALL the coils. They're destined to fail eventually- i found this out the hard way and I'm sure others can back this up.

Audi/VW issued a recall a while back for them on a ton of cars, call your dealer and see if you can get some for free.
