hey guys, i just wanted to show you this link to these TEIN entry level coilovers.

http://www.modacar.com/products/Audi...ver+Syste.html

im not like a huge fan of websites that arent audi/vw specific but this place has alot of stuff. i am also looking into coilovers, and was leaning towards vmaxx because of the price and because i wont ever be tracking my car. i like to drive spirited from time to time, and drive it like its supposed to be driven. i live in vermont so the winters are harsh so i need adjustable and of course i wanna lower my car. but these seem like a step up from vmaxx, from a name thats been around for a little longer. im looking for the spring rates as im writing this, so when i find them ill throw them out here. but for a little over 100 bucks more than vmaxx is seems like this is a better setup, and might have a little stiffer ride but still cheaper. what you guys think?

Yeah but they have them only for the 98-01 1.8 AWD and the 02-04 FWD. Sounds like a good set up but not for my car.

The TEIN Type BASIC damper system shares the same quality design and Japanese manufacturing as the other models in the TEIN lineup, but at a reduced price. Spring rates are higher than many kits on the market to reduce body roll, but the characteristics of the included dampers are able to maintain ride quality. Specifically designed shortened dampers are made to operate in the ride height range of this adjustable height suspension. The ride height adjustable system enables you to set ride height and corner weights for true performance.

thats what is said on this BMW specific site about these coil overs. so they are stiffer than stock but just a little bit? i dunno i think this is what im gunna go with.
