CAB is correct, sport suspensions have different colors than stock suspensions.

You could throw a set of aftermarket springs on your car and keep the stock sport shocks but who knows how long they are going to last with more pressure from the aftermarket (lowered) springs.

The sport suspension is supposed to be lowered than stock but yet isn't that low. That's the reason why some people with sport suspension still go for the aftermarket coilovers/shocks and springs set.

^^^yes you can, and you shocks will die in anywhere from 1 month to a year or two, that is why it is strongly recommended to upgrade your shocks too.

I think im just gonna go with H&R sport springs and bilstein shocks from awe cuz its twice as cheap and I dont feel like messing with the height.

wheels before drop. that way you know how much you wanna drop. if your lazy and dont want to crawl around to adjust your c/o after the fact .
thats the stupidest thing i have ever heard, SUSPENSION then WHEELS

you get the wheels to fit the car at the stance and performance you want

if you get coilovers, it wont matter how much you want to drop it on what wheels, because they are ADJUSTABLE

NOOB

I have heard many good things about the H&R and Bilstein combinations. [sm=smiley20.gif]

Also, I believe Bilstein has the set with damping adjustable if you are concerned about the ride quality.

I am just hoping that the 1.3" drop from H&R sport springs will be enough.

Are you planning to go with aftermarket wheels after?

The thickeness of the tires and wheel size play huge role when it comes to lowering.

Hey keep me posted on how you like them, i think these are gonna be what I get when I get C/O hopefully this summer
For sure man, I'll let you know. I'm going to let them adjust, then align them, and it should all be good, then I'll give some feedback

yeah keep us updated.

how much you pay for Co's? and how much for the install?

1095+tax. Install is secret

i just noticed your driver's side fmic ic pipins is sticking out or is it just the angle?
Yup man it sticks out. The passenger-side curves downward than scoops back up gracefully too; you can't really tell but it's oh so sweet looking.

Okay so I'm hearing clunking noises when I take a corner slowly, or if I reverse and sharply turn my wheel left/right, plus something smells like it's burning after a while of driving it. Flooring it in first makes something sound like something's slipping (definitely not my tires HAH)

So what's going on? Clunking = normal, or do they need to adjust the strut bars? Burning = excess lube being subject to friction? Slipping = ??? epic ko3 turbo?

I dunno, I'm not liking them so much now that they're giving me these problems... the whole thing feels really really fragile.
